Announcing a new FREE training resource!

Calling staff leaders at organizations working with youth! United Way of the Mid-South and Knowledge Quest are offering FREE “Supporting Youth: A Trauma Informed Approach”. This day-long training will equip youth-serving organizations to understand the basics of brain development, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and toxic stress to equip them them to promote youth development programs through a trauma-informed lens. Develop practical tools to help youths’ social emotional skills.

United Way of the Mid-South is making available to trainers a curriculum developed in partnership with the ACE Awareness Foundation to support youth workers in integrating what they have learned about ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) and resilience into action through a Trauma Informed approach.

The curriculum is a 6 module training series including PowerPoint presentations, speaker notes and handouts.
