Since September our friends at The Commercial Appeal have helped us reach our community through special messages in Sunday editions of the area’s largest newspaper. These quarter page bulletins have given us a larger voice to speak to the Mid-South about volunteerism, the need for more people to serve as tutors, our focus on local priorities and the need for greater awareness around our region’s struggles with domestic violence.

We are very grateful for the opportunity to share these important messages in the Mid-South’s largest daily paper, and for the volunteer service of Commercial Appeal employees such as George Cogswell, President and Publisher (a member of the United Way Board of Directors and Chairman of our United Way Marketing Committee), Paul Jewell, Marketing Director (who serves on our local United Way Marketing committee), and Jason Terrell, Marketing Creative Manager.

The campaign will continue through the end of the year.

Some messages from the campaign are included below. Click on an image to see the file larger as an Adobe Acrobat PDF document.
